Truckspotting

We are back from the annual camping vacay. Unlike the hip SCA friends at Pennsic, we decided to go to Lake George, NY for the family’s annual (70 years and still going strong) camping trip. Much fun was had. We got to swim in the lake, relax and go boating in the “nice boat”.

The trip there is long, the trip back is long, but the hubby and I still have lots to talk about. He even humors me by being willing to talk Transformers with me, although I think this is largely so I don’t spend too much time looking for Peterbilts. His conversation hovers mainly about minor technical points (like why Autobots don’t fly and why aren’t human weapons effective against TF’s). We also talk about tactics and leadership stuff, although we definitely come at the topic from different sides. I think he’s secretly a Decepticon. He thinks BW Megatron is funny, yess!

Also, Keed, did I give you my G1 comics? Mom thinks they are in the attic, but I didn’t get a chance to look for them, so I decided to try the obvious things first.

The gaming group is starting up a new D&D campaign, so we got to work on character concepts. I think we have some ones that will be fun to play.

Otherwise, we’re back at work and cleaning up post-trip and fixing the stuff that broke. Same old, same old.
